Eye-popping, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" serves as an overstuffed but mostly satisfying sequel, reuniting its predecessor's cast with a few new additions. Whedon delivers enough fun, action, and engaging team banter that fans will exit pleased but perhaps not giddy with joy. Whedon returns to assemble his team once more in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, and the results are at the same time familiar, different and as thrilling as ever before. Incredibly expensive action scenes full of destruction go on for way too long with little context behind them, leading to overkill and boredom. This is a film that unfolds with every re-watch and reveals more subtle little grace notes. The action sequences aren’t especially well designed, and the plot, such as it is, is essentially one catastrophe after another. Like the first film, what makes the sequel work is how director Joss Whedon builds the action on this character foundation and injects it with just enough humor to make its personality radiate. Though a mess by all conventional narrative standards, Avengers: Age of Ultron is a fascinating case study in the rules of “universe” storytelling. Chief among them is that a film may not be self-contained — it must constantly allude to worlds outside its own. Marvel fans want extra characters, extra subplots, in-jokes that pander to their supposed breadth of knowledge. They don’t want closure. I enjoyed Age of Ultron more than its predecessor, despite the fact that it’s almost exactly the same thing. This was probably a result of adjusting my expectations: I wasn’t sitting there waiting for Whedon to revolutionize the genre, or to turn an overdetermined comic-book movie into a Noel Coward comedy. He delivers a clean and capable entertainment, with a handful of distinctive flourishes stuck to the margins. That isn't to say I didn't enjoy myself. I just didn't feel Marvel trying to do anything different this time around. Age of Ultron disappoints not because it's irredeemably bad but because it fails to achieve the level of its predecessor in nearly every facet. Avengers: Age of Ultron is a kinetic, wicked mix of muscle and magic. Look no further if you want a world of superpowered freaks and geeks. But be aware: It comes at a cost. Vaporized in the parade of action and characters is the wonder and simplicity of its first, superior entry. Age of Ultron has self-aware laughs, grandiose themes and the best effects that money can buy. But at this point, it will take true vision to plot the umpteen sequels without getting trapped in a time loop. |

I watched the midnight screening of this movie, which began around 11:00 p.m.. I was exhausted because the film is long, which is practically its greatest downside when you are in a packed theater with a horrible seat. The experience was great, however. This movie tries to be too much of everything and feels it was wrapped up too quickly. The story seem to add up but in the end the whole thing has no soul. There is nothing there intelligent being told about the interesting subject involved like the human vs A.I thing. It's really kind of boring and derivative at this point. The first one had its issues, but at least it was novel; we hadn't seen anything like it. Age of Ultron throws a lot of stuff at you, but it all feels regurgitated from the first one, and overly commercialized. Not close to the first one but a good movie to see if you want to kill some time. Acting was not so great and was predictable. Was not satisfied when I left the movie. Apart from the good fight scenes filled with jam-packed action and trill, along with the pretty good visuals, there is nothing much to get out of the film, considering how much expectations it put on me after seeing the first Avengers. Acting in general was pretty stale, the storyline was rushed and thrown at your face and the film did not give you time to digest the storyline, leaving you kind of at a lost, the character development was weak and the film to me kind off seem to drag on forever. I'm not saying I hate the second Avengers movie (I would give the movie a thumbs up if you are in for the action), but I'm just not feeling it. Overall, I left the cinema kind off underwhelmed and disappointed, to be completely honest. Went to see Age of Ultron.....hmmmm what can i say . interesting story line which the film really DID not do justice . hit a robot hit another robot hit yet another robot funny comment or action oh and hit more robots with a mini romance between hulk and black widow, lots of techno waffle which didn't explain what was happening, would have made an interesting discussion on ethics of AI, rather disappointing. A lot was against this film. Creating an enjoyable sequel to the surprisingly well-made mega hit "The Avengers" without following the typical cliched blockbuster format was, at least how I looked at it, pretty impossible to pull. But somehow, like the Captain America sequel, Marvel does it again; both new and recurring, within the film with plausible ease and also manages to balance the quality of the story with some excellent fight scenes here on and then. Not saying this is a groundbreaking movie that overrides its predecessor, but overall a really enjoyable marvel movie that successfully prepares itself for future expansion sequels. Yeah, i liked more like a solid 9, way more enjoyable then the first film, in my opinion. Id watch it again and probably buy it on blu ray or something. Had a lot more depth to it opposed to then first making a much more enjoyable film. The movie is alright but it's just too long! I feel asleep not because it's boring (which it's not) but it's as i said, too long. the rest of it was good. The Avengers: Age of Ultron in all is acted out amazingly with the brilliant actors, but falls short of a compelling story, and forces way more jokes than needed. On another note, the CGI is amazing. Everything you see looks real, and not poorly-made in terms of the many effects used in the film. |

Serving up a fresh round of over-the-top thrills while adding unexpected dramatic heft, Furious 7 keeps the franchise moving in more ways than one. A big, noisy, that not only gives a proper sendoff to the character of Brian O' Conner, but manages to be a whole lot of fun in the process. The director, James Wan, sends cars repeatedly airborne and seems himself to marvel at the results; the movie's real subject is the stunt work, but its stars' authentic chemistry lends melody to its relentless beat. The victory lap of Furious 7 proves there's still plenty of gas left in the tank. Who would have thought that a series addicted to the high of movement could also summon a solemnity that leaves you moved? A remarkably satisfying and entertaining action movie, one of the best in the series. Put your brain in neutral and enjoy the ride. The hit muscle-car franchise does itself and the late Paul Walker proud with a solid seventh entry. "Furious 7" is the biggest, silliest movie in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, officially transforming the series into "The Avengers" with muscle cars. But what's wrong with big and silly? The good news is that Furious 7 offers more - and more, and yet more - of the same. Fast-moving fight scenes, outrageous auto antics and a sprinkling of ridiculous one-liners make Furious 7 a campy, crowd-pleasing escape. There will no doubt be better movies released in 2015, but "Furious 7" is an early favorite to win the prize for most picture. The movie doesn't hold together as well as the previous chapter, but that's really a function of expanding the cast still further. Furious 7 is the best F&F by far, two hours of pure pow fueled by dedication and passionate heart. Plot is unimportant. Family is everything, and Furious 7 is a blast. It’s an enormous, steroidal blast, and as much ingenious fun as a blockbuster can be. |

Furious 7 is just a dumb movie .......a dumb movies that is really great, The ending is really touching and is a great tribute to Paul Walker may he rest in peace the movie is so stupid that it's great. Indeed, this is the fastest and the baddest F&F so far, proving once again that bad-ass villain makes movie stronger....Jason Statham as baddie is true gem !....and at last but not least, this was the saddest sequel too, the last scene will make true fans burst in tears... So much fun! Great momentum. I had several, "I can't believe this is happening!" moments. Director James Wan, a man previously known for horror movies like The Conjuring and Insidious, replaced longtime franchise steward Justin Lin on Furious 7, but the visuals don’t miss a beat. By the big finale, Wan’s juggling three or four interconnected lines of parallel action. Even with the tough choices he made out of necessity in order to keep Paul Walker in the film, this might be the best-looking and best-edited Fast & Furious so far. It just keeps on getting BIGGER, BETTER, FASTER and CRAZIER!!! Easily the best movie in the franchise so far and seems like they merged all of the past movies together to create this behemoth. This awesome epic is filled with ACTION, CARS, WOMEN, FIGHTING and MUSCLES. It is constantly shouting at you and is the most spectacular action movie I have seen. Jason Statham brings what this franchise needed: a rememberable, badass villain and Tyrese Gibson brings back that comedy vibe with funny jokes and humour. I was a little disappointed not to see more of the Rock however but this mega cast has great chemistry and history. The movie is topped off with an emotional tribute to Paul Walker. The only real negative is that I am unsure how they will top this amazing movie for Furious 8 and be sure to catch it in the cinema for the best experience. Best Fast & Furious movie ever. I was really looking forward to this movie. I waited for this movie for 2 years, and every single day i was thinking about this movie. I went to see this movie and i was really hyped about it, and seriously, this movie was everything i hoped and even more. At the same time this movie follows the amazing plot and the action scenes are very exciting, and it also has a scene which is dedicated only to Paul Walker, and that scene brought me in tears. I loved this movie. Over the Top car stunts, combined with a great sense of fun, and fast paced action sequences make Furious 7 a great example of dumb fun done right. Perhaps the greatest strength of Furious 7 is that it takes the stunts of the last film even more amazing. Furious 7 is the title of the best in the series in my opinion. The film even managed to be a very good one end of the film even made me cry. RIP Paul Walker. Excellent film and it exceeds expectations. I think F7 is the best of the lot. I was more than impressed with the action packed fragments which took the movie to another amazing level. Missing Paul Walker but satisfied with his replacement. |
